Hailing from Yorkshire, England and now living in Amsterdam, the man in question is the brains behind the aptly named 'Amsterjacked' parties that take place in Amsterdam at the renouned Cue Bar, venue for many high regarded underground parties. His nights have attracted fans and DJ's from across Europe and further afield to jack to the sounds of Tommy Largo, DK Watts, Soul de Marin, Jason Hodges, Corduroy Mavericks and many more.
His sound is best described as 'everything house', heavily influenced by the old skool sound of the early nineties, he blends deep jazzy beats with jackin funky grooves with the sole aim of bringing smiles and dancing feet to the floor. Sturdus also has the pleasure of making regular, sometimes sober, appearances on AMW.FM (Amsterdams Most Wanted), 420 Sessions, as well as Wayne Bretts Lofrequency show on CHFM.
