InfinitiRock - the adventurous, left-field beat-splicer also known as Chester Anand - is single handedly scaring any beat-maker over the age of 20 within about a million mile radius. His songs, and especially his debut LP 'Music For Primordial Recollection', have dragged a mature, multi-genre sensibility into an ambient black hole, and what has radiated out is an excitingly defiant, yet wholly accessible take on experimental beats.
Although lacking the hype of his also-brilliant contemporaries Matthewdavid and Dak, InfinitiRock's sound isn't looking to be as immersive or thoughtful - it simmers and jolts and surprises and crackles with something no field recorder could ever capture.
At 18 he's learning how to master an art that to many others he has already conquered, and it's a testament to his genius that he's already tired of a record most producers couldn't make in a lifetime.
