Irish DJ from Cork specialises in hip-hop/soul/disco/afro/jazz/reggae
Stevie G is one of Ireland's best known DJs and he is regarded as a pioneer when it comes to spreading music such as hip-hop, soul and afro-beats here. In his career he has DJ’d alongside Kanye West, Destiny’s Child, Jay Z, De La Soul, Kelis, Roy Ayers, Massive Attack, Public Enemy, Lauryn Hill and many more iconic acts. He currently runs the New School, promoting new music talent, and Everybody Dance, a platform that aims to promote more inclusivity into the music scene for people with special needs and intellectual abilities. On Cork's RedFM, his Black on Red show won best weekly music radio show at the PPI awards in 2002 and Stevie has gone on to do documentaries on a number of musical figures, including Marvin Gaye, Aretha Franklin and A Tribe Called Quest.
