Born and raised in Maine, his early passion for music evolved into his cool alter ego, DJ Sway. Sway honed his talent for music with 16 years of piano, nine years of drumming, song writing, singing, producing, recording, guitar lessons, gigs with several garage rock bands and he began teaching himself how to DJ at age 18. While earning his master tech degree in Automotive Technology at Eastern Maine Tech, he got involved in the underground rave scene which marked the beginning of his career as DJ Sway.
Shortly after graduating, DJ Sway packed a suitcase, his turntables and bought a one-way ticket to Los Angeles. Currently, DJ Sway is the resident DJ at several LA area bars and clubs. He's played a variety of venues across Southern California and offers DJ lessons to anyone who wants to learn how to mix techno, progressive, trance, industrial, house or hip-hop.
