Starlight Beats & Breaks Record Label was founded in 2000 in Houston, TX by two members of the Rebel Crew Sound System, founder Joe B.(Joe Belmarez) and fellow crewmate, Dj SoulFree(Tanya Pelt). Joe B. directed the music & art productions on the label while SoulFree handled the administrative and investment side of the label. Music releases on StarlightBeats spanned a decade from 2001 with the first release entitled, "Traxx from da Waxx Vol. 1" to the last release in 2011, a limited 7" vinyl pressing entitled "Is It Me", a rugged dub reggae remix by Joe B. 144 titles total. The label's style is heavily involved in hip hop, electronica, breaks, reggae, latin and jungle and features many nationwide exemplary underground artists including Lenky Don, Rebel Crew, Karina Nistal, Heavy Heights, Michelle Thibeaux, Shina Rae, Mark Sound and many more..
