Born in Turku, Finland. Since the early 90's he lives and works in Lisbon, Portugal.

He has been active as a musician and dj since the mid-nineties. His work involves live music performances, DJ’ing, sound design, radio shows, music consultancy, compositions and participations for installations, contemporary dance/performances, television and radio.

Equally at home in an arts centre or theatre as well as a packed dancefloor, he produces and performs under his own name as well as under many different monikers and styles, both solo and in groups, and works with many visual and performative artists.

Under his Zentex alias his extensive discography includes releases on labels such as Traum Schallplatten (Cologne), Boxer Recordings (Cologne), Resopal Red (Berlin), Archipel (Montreal), Minisketch (Barcelona), as well as on portuguese labels Bloop recordings, Plot and Sui Generiz. His releases have been remixed by names like Alex Under, Gui Boratto, Jussi-Pekka and Cosmic Sandwich
