Matty Ros
Also known as Spacebeest and Shamatty, is a Dutch multidisciplinary musician, sound artist and life artist. Active since the age of thirteen, he has been a driving force in underground music, experimental art and live improvisation for decades.
As Spacebeest, Matty Ros performs fully improvised, high-energy live sets using drum machines, space-drenched guitars, synthesizers, vocal effects and found sound objects. Everything is created 100% live, moving freely between psychedelic songs, baritone and 12-string guitar work, Steve Vai–style guitar explosions, brutal TEKNO (with a K) and raw noise.
