COOLIE RIDDIM started off as a bday dancehallparty!
By the great succes of it, it is certain to become one of the biggest dancehallparty's in Ghent-city (Belgium)!

The name 'COOLIE RIDDIM' was Souchke's idea (the headorganisator). She's Indian and Jamaican people call Indian girls who love dancehall: 'Coolie gyalz'. And as we all know, the 'coolie dance riddim' is one of the popular riddims in Jamaica, so it was crystal clear that this was the best way to name the party!

I'm convinced everybody agrees that dancehallmusic has to be more promoted! We want to do something about the fact that dancehall is mixed with hiphop, ecclectic music and r&b! Dancehall is a genre that has its own crowd and is more than only Sean Paul!
Therefor, COOLIE RIDDIM is 100% dancehall (including ragga & reggae).
