I am so grateful for the support you all gave, not just for me, but for the fact that abuse needs to be recognized. We all have been ignoring how serious this issue is. And assume we as a society are unable to do anything about it, but we can make a change. I was a sexual abuse yes. And as a survivor, I do believe parents need to be more careful with their children and also supportive. Although I have wrote my article a while back, I choose to continue share my story, not for pity, but for showing you that this happen in Belize. It's not that you don't know but because most people are unaware how abuse does affect a person.

We do need help and support from family members, and every individual do need to educate themselves about the support. So that if it ever happens to anyone close to you, you know what to do to support that person and understand what he/she going through.
