Born in Birmingham, Alabama Lamilton Hubbart, known internationally as Shurlock arises amidst the some of the Greatest Natives of the City; Diana Ross, the Temptations, Ruben Studdard and Taylor Hicks just to name a few. His talented gift of music made a galvanizing impact on the Magic City music scene from an early age. Shurlock has been and still is noted for his musical genius, musicianship and gambit of awards as a young percussionist.

Shurlock was and is till evidently inspired by some of the greatest artist and musicians of all time to include Parliament, Chaka Khan, the Chi-Lites, the Temptations, Donny Hathaway and Marvin Gaye. It was this caliber of artistry that inspires the passion of soul and old school Hip Hop you experience in his music. Even though his works are labeled ”Feel it Music,” Shurlock’s production genres envelope R & B, Neo-Soul, Dance, Electronic, Hip Hop, Pop and yes, Rock & Roll.
