Dj Shawn E Mac was born and raised in a small northern ontario town and has been dj`ing for over 20 years now.
His main influence when he was young was his uncle who was a wedding dj. He would make mix tapes with all the latest music and pass them out to his friends.

His first gig was in 1994 when he was 19 years old playing to his brothers elementary school graduation!

He moved to Toronto in 1998 where he started to go to raves and nighclubs and fell in love with house music.
Soon after he learnt how to mix and began to play at bars, raves, nightclubs and on radio stations in the Toronto area which included The Docks, Gypsy Co-Op, Fez Batik.

He also started his own house nights with his brother and friends.
His musical styles are soulful, deep bumpin house. His influences are Mark Farina, Louie Vega and Terrence Parker just to name a few.

After moving back to his howmetown in 2005 he began a successful dj business playing weddings and festivals.
