DJ SHAMMIE started her journey in Radio with RTRFM 92.1, a community radio presenting overnight shows like Good Times and Snooze Button, playing a mix of alternative music.
In 2022, DJ Shammie joined the “Your Shot” DJ Competition in Perth, playing the House Genre.
DJ Shammie has since then played for Corporate Functions –Telstra, Ben and Jerry’s in Hillary Boat Harbour and at : The Parq, a Pub catering to a Diverse Crowd paying House and Pop. She opened up for Sephora in Carousel - Cannington.
The goal is not to pigeonhole herself into one style, DJ Shammie believes she can traverse the BPMs and moods and focuses on telling a story through progression with her DJ sets. Her dream is a boiler room set that builds from laid-back ambient sounds to proper “hands-in-the-air” techno and everything in between. DJ Shammie wants to DJ good music that transcends genre!
