Born in Tarrytown, NY in December 1973, Rodney Mario Suarez has been a fan of music as far back as he can remember.” I recall having a giant sized Kiss poster over my bed when I was a kid – I must’ve been five years old. My Dad had crates and crates of records. Everything from Led Zeppelin to Jimi Hendrix and his favorite, The Rolling Stones. I grew up listening to Rock n Roll.”

At the age of nine years old, Rodney was out with friends one day, at the park by his elementary school when his friend said “Hey Rodney, check this out.” He then placed his boombox on the ground, unfolded a large broken down cardboard box and began spinning on his head and back after performing what looked like a gymnastics routine. Astounded – Rodney asked “What’s that?”” That’s called breakdancing, and this is called Hip-Hop.” “The first Hip-Hop song I ever heard was RUN DMC – Rockbox, it had just been released. It was amazing.”
