Sean Johnson has been behind the decks for nearly four decades, starting out in the late 80s playing soul, funk, disco and house. Through the early 90s, he was a regular at some of the seminal raves and club nights of the East of England, warming up for the likes of Paul 'Trouble' Anderson, Norman Jay, CJ Mackintosh and Matt 'Jam' Lamont.

In 2001 he founded the DizzyFunk Sound System, throwing outdoor free parties and club nights for over a decade. Guests included Inland Knights, The Littlemen, Digs & Whoosh and Simon DK. In 2023 he reignited the DizzyFunk name as a record label — a new home for the sound the parties were built on, alongside his own releases and productions.

Today, Sean's sets move seamlessly between deep, disco and jackin, shaped by reading the dancefloor and the vibe of the party, and always rooted in that classic underground house sound.
