At the age of 17 Doninelli attended his first rave at Homebase (International Rave Center) in Oakland, CA at the height of the rave scene in 1997. From that day forward he was hooked on electronic music. Influenced by local DJ's Mars & Mystre, Thomas Trouble, and Dyloot, Doninelli bought his first turntables spinning trance music in his bedroom. While attending college at Chico State University DJ'ing took a back seat. A friend of Doninelli's who also shared a love for electronic music actively tried to convince him to pick up DJ'ing again and take it the next level. Around the same time, while listening to the radio Doninelli heard two songs by Deadmau5 called "Move for me" and "Not Exactly" and loved his sound. Doninelli decided to buy CDj's and found a renewed passion for electronic music with a new found fondness for electro, progressive house music... and the rest is history.
