Growing up engulfed by the sounds of the Chicago underground in the late 80's and early 90's, music became not only a love and release, but a way of life. Each component to Boogie Libré brings their own unique influence and sound, yet keeping in harmony with a common bond. Along with Ernie Reyes Jr, Boogie Libré has accumulated almost 40 combined years of experience behind the decks, which has developed into an eclectic synthesis of sounds bridging Deep House, Soul, Disco, Afro, Jazz, techno and funk... the journey knows no bounds once it begins. Early experiences playing long remembered Chicago clubs such as Karma, RedNo5, and Red Dog made lasting impressions which to this day drive the group to leave memories of fun and great times to every person they touch. Recent series of parties such as The Sunset Beat Garden, Homegrown, SMF, Soul Siesta, Swing Shift Afterhours and Now In Stereo at DEMF and M Lounge Saturdays.
