Samtroy; A New Zealand born and raised, Fukuoka, Japan based Tech House and Deep Tech DJ/producer. Samtroy has played in clubs in Australia, Japan and Vietnam.
Samtroy has held residencies at Fukuoka clubs the Dark Room, DJ Land, Club Echo and guest appearances at events such as; Lighthouse Fukuoka, Housetribe and Womb Tokyo. He has supported artists such as; Mark Knight, Dosem, David Morales and Yotto.
He has had releases on labels such as B4DJs, Cyprus based label Mosaic Sound System, Tokyo based label Housetribe Deep and 4 EPs on London based Label; Bbop Recordings.
Samtroy is a Toolroom Academy graduate studying the masterclass with D.Ramirez, graduating in September of 2023.
Samtroy started 2024 with his first release; `Tell Ya Story Walkin' on Toolroom Trax. It was met with positive results, peaking at number 42 on Traxsource Tech House Top 100 Chart. On March 8th Samtroy released on Get Down Recordings With "This Thing We Got" collaborating with DJ Spy(USA).
