AVDJ $am $oul is a professional, performing audio-visual disc-jockey specializing in live event and production services. He uses Technics 1200 M3Ds and Rane Serato DJ/Video for a mixture of vinyl and digital vinyl for his mixes. He started his DJ career by making mixtapes in high school, and further developed as a club, radio, and live event in the early 2000s in the New York, New Jersey, and Pennsylvania music scene while earning his B.A. and M.A. In the mid-2000s, AVDJ $am $oul relocated to the Bay Area, CA and began working with independent artists on mixtape, song, and album projects in studio and during live events. During this time, he began working as a studio engineer and event planner. As a studio engineer, AVDJ $am $oul assisted in producing, recording, and mixing over 10 studio albums and 40 mixtapes from artists located in the Bay Area, the United States, and worldwide. Around 2008, AVDJ $am $oul began professionally mixing video as well.
