Samie A is a producer and DJ based in Somerset, a resident DJ with Intrigue and was 1 of the 3 members of the drum and bass collective, Superior Selectionz.

The trio's gig appearances included Progression Sessions, Rebirth, Bristol Festival, Deep Space, Mix Mag, Random Concept, Bedlam and Infidelity. They hosted a weekly dnb show on the pirate internet station "Grand Theft Audio" and regularly played on Passion FM. In 2006, they became resident DJs at Intrigue, one of Bristol’s longest running drum & bass nights. Their first release was ‘Teknique’ on Lockdown Recordings back in 2007, which received airplay from the likes of Klute, Cybin and Bungle. They went on to produce multiple EP's and LP's on Lockdown and were later signed to Intrigue Music, often collaborating with label boss Ben Soundscape and vocalist Collette Warren.

Since moving on from Superior Selectionz in 2019, Samie A is excited to embark on a new solo venture, focusing more on exploring her creative individuality.
