Through high school and college she started making mix tapes for her friends and playing them at parties. After watching a DMC competition in 1998 featuring the Invisible Scratch Pickles she knew this was an "instrument" that she had to learn."The Invisible Scratch Pickles were a band! Everyone used to say that all djs did was play songs but I was watching the Scratch Pickles play turntables like instruments! All I could remember about watching these guys were the interviews Qbert would give. He would explain djing as another language often comparing it to a form of alien communication. This is when I knew I needed to figure out how to create my own language with music and speak to a crowd. From this point on djing and the art of speaking to people through music became the love of my life".Since then she has held popular residencies in FL and NYC and has djed events across the US and internationally.
