Brought up in a family full of musicians, music is in my blood. Born in 1970 I was surrounded by the sounds of disco in my early years, and that was when i first fell in love with music, also having jazz musicians in the house I was quickly interested in funk in the eighties and my love for disco and funk still remains. During my teens I was often found in the soul and funk rooms of Time and Place, and then following on into the nineties, when acid house arrived I was soon to be following the convoys of ravers across Yorkshire. I picked up mixing vinly around 1997 for a very short time, but unfortunately not having my own decks I stopped playing, but continued clubbing. Capricorn Club, Activate, Tollerance, Universe, venturing into Leeds and finding the Gallery (what a find) the Kitkat club, After Dark, Limelight, Blue Note, Ronsons, Love2Be, Hardtimes, The Leadmill, Talltrees, I ventured further and further, wherever my favourite DJ's were playing. That was where it all began.
