Sam Champagne
Once a staple in the the Honolulu underground dance music scene, Sam Champagne now resides in his birthplace of Washington state. He is the founder of the art, science, and music collective, The Purple Room, known throughout Hawai’i for exquisite parties and the creation of their own custom sound system and solar generators. Sam also curates his own production company, Champagne Presents, which has brought talent from around the globe to Honolulu. He has also held residencies at prominent Honolulu parties: Centered, Fourth on the Floor, and Other Worldly, and was a regular at venues such as Asylum, Hawaiian Brian’s and Ong King. For several years he hosted the popular electronic radio show, The Recovery on Honolulu’s KTUH 90.1 FM. Sam has extended his reach beyond the islands, playing shows on the US West Coast, and in southeast Asia including Jai Thep Festival in Thailand.
