Saint Griza is an American producer, DJ, label founder, and advantage player. Inspired by ethnobotany and floatation tanks, he began producing hardware-based acid house, industrial, and ambient house music in 1990 using the Akai MPC60. Releasing under various monikers, he launched independent imprints—including Transistor Rhythm, Colourform, and Octal—to control his distribution, and became a regular DJ at Boston’s famous ManRay nightclub. He famously collaborated with Terence McKenna on spoken-word ambient albums, though a project with Whitley Strieber was aborted due to disturbing events during recording.

Parallel to music, Griza exploited regional casino games through card counting, card manufacturing flaws, and shuffle tracking. His high-stakes advantage play eventually led to him being banned as persona non grata across various casinos.
