Roberto Angiari, aka Roy Batty, is an Italian producer and composer from Aosta. A self-taught pianist since the age of 14, he began experimenting with sampling and remixing before releasing his first records in 2006. In 2009 he co-founded Boylerz, an underground electronic project known for acclaimed remixes and the award-winning track "Vegapunk" (Track of the Year 2011 by electro-news.eu). Between 2009 and 2014 he performed as a resident and guest DJ. Since 2013 he has released over 30 Tech House productions, achieving chart success on Tracksource and Beatport. Since 2018 he has collaborated with Alex Nocera and Black Hand Music Network, releasing music on labels including Revealed, Warner Music Italy, 2Dutch, Smash The House, Future House Music, CLUBWRK, Sirup Music and more. He also produces Chillout, Trip Hop, Drum & Bass, Hard Dance and solo piano under various aliases.
