Henry Fambrough was a baritone vocalist who provided co-lead vocals on some songs and was the last surviving original member of the group until his death in 2024. Pervis Jackson was the group's bass singer, known for his deep, resonant voice. He had a memorable spoken-word line on the song "Games People Play". Billy Henderson was a second tenor in the group and was known for his animated choreography and stage presence. Instrumental support The lush orchestral sound of "I'll Be Around" was a hallmark of the Philly soul style created by producer Thom Bell. The musical backing was provided by MFSB, Philadelphia's famed studio house band, and featured notable instrumentalists: Norman Harris: Guitar Ronnie Baker: Bass Earl Young: Drums
