Metro-Six first grew a passion for Dance Music in the mid 90's, listening to likes of Paul Oakenfold, DJ Tiesto and Robert Miles. However it was not until 2001 when he started to experiment with beat matching and mixing phrases.

Eventually, he then started to practice with harmonic mixing by using the Camelot Wheel Theory as a guide.

In the past he has mixed a variety of different genres, but today he mostly plays mainstream and commercial house along with some of the latest progressive house blended in as well.
