Rokk was born out of the electroclash scene in London 2003 when he took up residency at The Cock club night at The Ghetto. Gleaning influence from the likes of Blackstrobe, Legowelt and the Ghostly International label he formulated the club’s synthetic vocal pop sound. In 2006, he took up residency at Richard Mortimer’s now legendary club night Boombox, which took and his records across the globe. Body Talk is Rokk’s club night and is the longest running night at Dalston Superstore which began in 2009 celebrating Original House sounds from the late 80s early 90s, and has seen guest spots from Trevor Jackson, Jacques Renault, Jon Pleased Wimmin, Mark Moore, Honey Dijon amongst others Swedish artist Robyn even named her 2010 album after his club night, which then saw them tour together in the U.S. with Coldplay djing together at sell out events across the country.
