The station’s slogan is “some that you recognize, some that you've hardly even heard of” which is a quote from the song Celluloid Heroes by The Kinks written by Ray Davies. So music is played from known artists and from independent artists from around the world with whom many will be unfamiliar. Mondays thru Thursdays, the station plays What If New Wave Never Ended, the only true new wave experience on radio since it plays songs from that time period and continues into the future as if that format never ended. Fridays the station alternates new wave songs and songs from indie artists that fit new wave. Saturdays are Spotlight on Indies where songs alternate between an indie/small label artist song and an established artist song. Sunday is the Best of Rock on Neon Radio.
