First and foremost, I am the father of an intelligent, talented, and courteous 16 year old young man; he absolutely loves video games (and, I absolutely love him)!
I am an avid and voracious reader, a bibliophile, with a personal library of over 500 books (and growing). Some of my favorite authors are: Christopher Hitchens, Richard Dawkins, Sam Harris, Daniel Dennett, Carl Sagan, Stephen Hawkins, Steven Pinker, Bertrand Russell, Noam Chomsky, Walter Isaacson, George Orwell, Aldous Huxley, Voltaire, I could go on and on.
I also, very much enjoy watching documentary films, online lectures, and other such informational programming (I.E. Science Channel, Discovery, TLC, BBC, etc.).
I am a bit of an introvert, a 'deep thinker,' contemplative, analytical, introspective and extrospective. I am a (diplomatic) contrarian who enjoys a good, constructive debate.
