Ricky Tonsson hosted several radioshows* for i-Turnradio.nl for almost 6 years now. His radioshows featured mostly music from the 70's and the 80's, oldschool funk and disco in particular.
In his show called 'Rix 12inch Revival' he showcased long versions, remixes, extended versions and dub versions as they where released on 12inch maxisingles in the 70's and the 80's.
With his radioshow called 'Rix Playground' he took you back to his schooldays of the 70's and the 80's by playing the music he listened to in those days. Mainly oldschool grooves and disco music as featrured in the Dutch radioshow Ferry Maat's SoulShow and the Belgian radioshow FunkyTown, back in the 70's and 80's.
At the moment he reduced his work for i-Turnradio to one radioshow, which is streamed every monday at 10 pm (cet). The show is called 'the RICKY TONSSON show' and is a combination of Rix Playground and the 12inch Revival.
