From the age of 9 years old Rick was drawn to music. His love for Hip Hop and Rap would carry him into his High School years when he bought his first set of Technics 1200 turntables. This exploration of old school records and mixing set the foundation for him as a DJ and allowed him to understand the fundamentals of beat matching and track selection. In addition to getting his feet wet with mixing, he began to develop himself as a Producer and started making beats with Native Instruments’ Reason™ and Recycle™.

Shortly after he graduated college, he became a promoter for some of the most well known nightclubs in San Diego, California, where he is from.

As he promoted events that included some of the most well known acts from the House Music scene such as Boyz Noise, Calvin Harris, Dirty South, Afrojack, Bob Sinclair, Kaskade, and many more, he realized his love and passion for the music industry and decided to embark on his path to become an established Producer and DJ.
