Renée holds a Masters Degree in International Affairs and worked domestically and abroad in the field of HIV/AIDS awareness and prevention for over ten years. After the birth of her son, Renée decided that having a flexible schedule and working from home would be the best option for caring for her young son.

While working as the Director of a National Literacy program, in July 2008 Renée launched her personal blog Cutie Booty Cakes as a way to promote her first entreprenuerial endeavor, a diaper cake business. Before she had even shipped a cake, she was bitten by the blogging bug and had found a new passion.

A self-confessed social media junkie, Renee leverages the power of social media sites like Facebook and Twitter to raise awareness of important social and health-related causes.
