The passion for good music flourished as a youth by eating up my parents extensive record collection, which had 70’s to 90’s Classic’s allowing for R DUB’s wide span of music knowledge. As a teenager R DUB worked at HMV in Kitchener Ontario, that job led to live events with larger audience attendance, all this while still at a young age! Looking to grow his Turntablism skills R DUB L went to Scratch Lab DJ School in Ontario with Deejay teachers Dave Cambell & DJ Buba Kahn.
After keeping the live shows rolling with large Rave/Dance style events mostly held in Toronto Ontario with over 5k+ crowds, Rene Double a.k.a DJ R DUB L continued his musical journey to attending Metal Works Institute In Mississauga Ontario where he trained to be an Audio Engineer in the music industry. On May 11th 2019 DJ R DUB L released his first EP entitled “Tambamakahn” This was the nickname of his sister Tamara King.
