DJ Drishti was born and raised in Amsterdam, Holland where his earlier musical inspirations came through African Beats and Reggae from Jamaica. Vinyl was the choice of medium and especially the likes of Lee Perry and King Sunny Ade proved to be influential, while the Club scene was legendary with venues like Paradiso and Melkweg (Milky Way). Soul and Blues became influential as well although DJ Drishti's musical path did not become clearly defined until he became a Yogi and started an annual pilgrimage to Black Rock City. Combining multiple genres, not limited to Tech House, Chill Out, Indie Dance and Electronica, his distinct Dj Sets can be heard at Burning Man and working with local Yoga teachers.
