Music is in DJ Aviva’s blood, the daughter of a songwriter and a Jazz singer and niece to musicians who played with Frank Sinatra & Louis Prima, she developed a passion for it early on. Her vinyl collection started at the age of 8 when her parents would start to buy her records of music she saw on Solid Gold or MTV or when she ‘borrowed’ from their own collection and it grew exponentially. Her career in entertainment as a TV & talent producer kept her in-the-know about music trends as she moved through the years. She worked at Nickelodeon, VH1, MTV, launched TV Land, and started her own company producing/booking shows, films & events from Disney Holiday Specials to American Idol.With her comprehensive record collection DJ Aviva has spun at popular clubs like Idlewild & Don Hill's.The impeccable vibes and her genuine connection with listeners has made her a devoted following spinning vinyl from House & Funk to New Wave & Punk weekly with specialty shows in between. www.twitch.tv/DJAviva
