These days Cuban music shows rhythms which come from digital technology. For Cuban artists, it´s a challenge to preserve cultural identity in their works and be distinctive within the wide spectrum of electronic music.

What´s the concept behind each tune that you make?

The concepts are endless. It all depends on my daily mood. I don´t mean I´m moody though! But I love music and all its genres. They are my drug, really. If you have a look at my beat bank or my folders with the artists I have worked with, you will discover people from various genres. I produce a number of styles, different sounds. I love experimenting, studying and looking for different concepts and ways to implement an idea. The concept can change as I move along the instrumental piece. It can transform and develop itself into several forms. However, I always get an inspiration by strong and pure feelings; they are very often my point of departure or my basic concept.
