Raidió Corca Baiscinn serves southwest Clare, Ireland ( Loophead peninsula ) broadcasting on 94.8FM ( live online at www.rcb.ie ) for 8hrs a day Mon. to Fri. from 1pm to 9pm and for 5hrs the weekend from 1pm to 6pm.

We broadcast a huge range of programming including local news & current affairs, documentaries on local & regional historic, environment & cultural topics as well as music from punk to country and Irish in between. In addition we provide radio skills training to our diverse community.

We hit the airways over 25 years ago in January 2000 after receiving our full broadcasting license from Cóimisiún na Méan ( formerly the Broadcasting Authority of Ireland) back in late 1999.

As a non profit community radio station we continually seeks to engage with the whole community, giving a voice to many who would otherwise be unheard such as disadvantaged and socially excluded groups such as young people, lone parents, refugees, the unemployed, the elderly and disabled people.
