John has never seen genres as boundaries for his sets, djing by the motto “I don’t listen to one genre, nobody does, so why play only one genre” his sets include everything from nu disco, deep and minimal house, breaks, elements of soul, and of course indie, he still prefers to get a vibe from a crowd than go into a venue with a specific inflexible set.
This versatility has seen him support The Unabombers, The Subs, Gilles Peterson and Calvin Harris and April 2013 he shares the stage with Le Galaxie, CoMa, Ulrich Schnauss and LTJ Bukem, a two day, three stage event he is also stage managing.
