Selecta Iriedaily

Selecta Iriedaily appeared due to the severe lack of roots reggae music in Romania at that time (around 2005). As the record collection grew, I started to play radio shows like Endoskopie (CH) and Beton Orman (TR).
2006, was the year of my first sessions (Istanbul) and the year in which I went to the first festivals, Irie Vibes and Reggae Geel. Seeing Jah Tubbys Worldsystem live shaped the way I perceived running sound and selecting for the rest of my days.
In the summer of 2007, I moved to Belgium and I started my apprenticeship with Ionyouth, as a boxboy. A few months later, when KayaLion stepped back from Ionyouth to run his own sound, I started to get involved in selection.
During 2008 and 2012, together with Ionyouth, I was fortunate enough to play dances like Iondance, Haile I Dub, Roots & Culture, Back to the Roots. etc and were the resident sound for Belgium's finest reggae festival: Irie Vibes. As a result of this, we warmed up for artists like Shaka, Aba, JTS.
