Last week on Radio Headspace, we introduced our Skill Swap project. Hopefully some of you have had a chance to get involved and to start skill swaps of your own. If you missed it, you can listen back now, and check our Instagram for some creative learning prompts. For those of you who did get started already, tell us about it! We’d like to follow your skill swaps and your learning journeys, and talk to some of you on the podcast at the end of this month.
This week, we’re focusing on learning and memory. It struck me that I was having a number of conversations with friends about how we were increasingly struggling to remember things. So how would this affect our learning? And is there really an issue with memory loss coming earlier and earlier in life? I was joined by Dr David Cox, our Chief Medical Officer, and Dr. Marcos Economides, our new cognitive neuroscientist, to find out if our memories are getting worse, if we can improve them, and how meditation can help.
