The importance of our community and its development came about through careful perception of trends we had found to be dismaying. The current dynamic of music in the U.S. which is quickly shipped overseas, is one based firmly under the continuous search for what was created decades earlier in the form of the ‘Blockbuster.’ Acts such as the Eagles, Michael Jackson, Prince, and even Madonna became the die in which the music industry used to cast successors to a great deal of success. Lou Pearlman (formerly of Backstreet Boys and ‘N Sync fame) became not only rich, but defiantly predicted that he could produce these bands on a whim. His tactic?
