Born in 1976 in Southern Italy, Paolo Picone began his musical career as a drummer in 1991. In 2000, he founded the dub'n'bass band MOU, and in 2005 AQuietBump label.
In 2008, Paolo released his first solo work under the name PEAK, a dusty journey through jamaican roots, ambient and electroacoustic music.
As PEAK, Paolo has published with Ornaments music/Berlin, Qunabu/Poland, AQuietBump/Italy, SEM label/France, and participated in festivals and venues as Fusion Festival/Germany, Maria Club/Berlin, Dub’n’Sauce/France, Espai Artistic Contemporani/Barcelona, Tundra Festival/Lithuania, Sfinks/Poland, Interferenze New Arts Festival/Italy.

Starting 2023, active also under the pseudonym NOISES FROM THE WARDROBE, a musics selection and soundscapes project between ethnic and electronic music drawing from music of every place and time, along the trajectory of the new and old psychedelias of the world.
