Born in Athens, Greece in 1978. Raised in Glyfada and fell in love with the sea. Went to Brussels, BE, after finishing school, from 1995 to 1997 and then to Birmingham, UK, where she got her BA in Economics and MSc in Marketing management by 2001.
She got married in 2005 and became the mother of Alexandra the same year and of Nefeli on 2012. She divorced in 2014 on a period when the one and a half year old Nefeli was undergoing chemo treatment for hew Wilms tumor therapy. Luckily she was fully curred.
Poly is working in Photonics Communications Research Lab of the School of Electrical and Computer Engineering of the National Technical University of Athens, since 2011.
