Originally found electronic music at the age of 16, listening to pirate radio stations playing Acid House, Drum and Bass and Garage in Birmingham, England. In the mid 1990s explored the growing club music scene that the Midlands and Northern England had to offer. Fun, Wobble, Miss Moneypenny’s, C.R.E.A.M, Fabric, Renaissance, Gatecrasher, and Northern Exposure to name a few.
Early musical influences included such DJ’s as Sasha, Mike Pickering, Jon DaSilva, Jeremy Healy, Dave Seaman, Hernan Cattaneo, David Morales, James Zabiela, Scott Bond, Eddie Halliwell and a local lad that attended the same High School by the name of Steve Lawler.
More recent influences are in the deep house genre, as well as DJ’s Lee Burridge, Matthew Dekay, Huxley, Darius Syrossian, Barry Jamieson and of course the fantastic SF underground house music scene.
