The phulaphula platform is a sound-conscious sphere, in which to theorise our own reality, beyond the chronicles of modernity’s reason and facts. It is a space for music as research, for creative elaboration of deep thought and sonic awareness, and for generative processes of learning and unlearning. It imprints inter-disciplinary perspectives on music and audio cultures from localities proximal to the Africa Open Institute, and from across the African continent.
