Soul:Motion is the combined project of two guys; Alex Mos and Philly Centrik.
Both signed, recognised producers and DJs in their own right they first got together to make music about after Mos heard Centrik on Soundcloud and wanted to co-lab. Influenced by liquid greats like Lenzman, Alix Perez, Command Strange, Redeyes, Random Movement and the mighty Calibre the music they make both harks back to the classic age of liquid funk and is at the cutting edge of digital production techniques. Soul:Motion for a year they’ve racked up releases on Soul Deep, Inform Records, Influenza Media, Celsius Recordings, Phuzion Digital and Redeye’s Vandal Records imprint.

They’ve also had DJ support from Lenzman, Command Strange, Redeyes, Etherwood, Technimatic, Atlantic Connection, Nookie, Dj Fu and Utah Jazz and have another string of releases with a slightly darker edge to them on the way. With all that achieved in just a year, imagine what they can do in two.
