From the woods that birthed “the shot heard ‘round the world,” the
faint sounds of dumka can be heard echoing about the trees. Though
somewhat new to the electronic music scene, this former Boston
resident’s love of the genre’s limitless possibilities has pushed him
to create sounds geared towards the listener’s innermost thoughts.
With influences such as Kahn, Burial, Kode9, Pearson Sound, Bok Bok, and Fourtet, dumka’s special blend of bass music encourages
simultaneous collective and personal explorations. As a producer, DJ,
and musician, dumka is constantly looking for new ways to tweak his
sounds and text new waters.
