Lunar Asylum is a pioneering Goa Trance act formed in 1994 by Paul Greendale and Chris Stevenson. They set up Sirius Records, whose first release was their own “Topple”.
More singles followed, including Bubble, Lost in Space, Water Margin and Reefer Madness, while many other tracks were licensed to various compilations
Working with Suntrip, Hot Records, 604 Bookings and Oli Bookings, recent gigs have included Greece, Belgium, Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Israel, and India.
Classic Goa Trax released a Singles Collection in Feb 2021:
“Lunar Asylum had name and fame in the British acidic old school goa-trance scene of the 90s! Their music was filled with TB303 sounds, crazy melodies and raw & funky tweaked synths! All tracks are of the original cd files, enjoy these classics!
Paul spent the first half of 2023 in India, and played in Goa, Indore, Bangalore and Kasol. He is writing a new Lunar Asylum album, Total Internal Reflection, and a new single is about to be announced
