He then joined Phil Rodriguez with whom he set up 2 Guy’s on the Rock. Their first EP ‘Eskomo’, released on Pulp Recordings label and remixed by Mashtronic and the original track features on Carl Cox’s DVD and received warm support from John Digweed, Markus Schulz, Sasha and Pole Folder to name but a few.
In 2009 he started to compose solo and changed his “Petit Ange” moniker to Laurent Chanal. His first tracks were signed to Baroque, Reworck, Resopal, Inclusif...
Laurent is a composer in several facets because he also turns on another more techno project in color of Detroit, he can make a mixer of sounds progressive and melodic under his so called second name "Lo-Tech".
His first EP "Twisted Fish" is signed on the US label Hijacked Records Detroit and is already supported and played by Laurent Garnier.
Each mix, each composition is a sensual and surprisingly powerful mix of Techno, progressive house and deep house grooves infused with layers of hypnotic atmospheres.
