First he spun the decks from 1986 at the best Swiss clubs & raves, but in 1996, Chris Whyte made his way to Hong Kong where he landed a few gigs in clubs and private parties. Soon afterwards, he started working as a resident DJ at the ZIP Club, Hong Kong’s trendiest gay club. His work at the ZIP included putting together the background music at the La Bodega and Wyndham Street Thai, two of Hong Kong’s “Best Restaurants”. He also had the once in a lifetime experience of putting the music for the Hand-over fireworks display together, when British Hong Kong was returned to China on 1 July 1997.
